Attemperators are intended to reduce the temperature and pressure of steam in pressure-reducing desuperheating stations of process lines of thermal power plants and are an integral part of the kit included in desuperheating stations, pressure-reducing and desuperheating stations, and fast-respond PRDS. Attemperators can be equipped with one or more throttle grates, which provide final steam reduction. At the same time these grates partially act as silencers, reducing noise levels during steam expansion in the cooler. Cooling water is injected using spray devices—nozzles (Fig. 1) and atomizing nozzles (Fig. 2).
End connection—butt-welded.
Installation position—horizontal or vertical.
Flow direction—follow the arrow on the body.
Climatic version—N3 acc.to GOST 15150-69.
