The valves are used as shutoff devices on equipment and pipelines of thermal power plants (Thermal power plants, heat-and-power central stations, and state district power plants), transporting water and steam.
The valves are controlled by actuators: electric actuators from various manufacturers (Э), handwheels (M), an actuator head with a cylindrical (ЦЗ) or bevel (КЗ) gear transmission.
Sealing surface – corrosion-resistant steel overlay.
Shutoff classification – “C” acc.to GOST R 54808-2011.
End connection – butt-welded.
Flow direction – any.
The valves are installed on horizontal pipelines with the actuator facing upward. For ease of maintenance, valves may be installed on horizontal pipelines in any position of the upper semicircle. On vertical pipelines, they may be installed subject to the electric actuator installation position requirements specified in its operating documentation.
Gate valves rated for maximum pressure PN 100 may be used with operating parameters ranging from 10 Mpa (100 kgf/cm2) at 200°C to 3.6 Mpa (36 kgf/cm2) at 455°C; and for PN 63, they may be used with operating parameters ranging from 6.3 MPa (63 kgf/cm2) at 200°C to 2.3 MPa (23 kgf/cm2) at 455°C.
Climatic version: N3 acc.to GOST 15150.
