Cast Wedge Gate Valves for high parameters GOST R 53672-2009

The valves are used as shutoff devices on equipment and pipelines of thermal power plants (Thermal power plants, heat-and-power central stations, and state district power plants) transporting water and steam.

Gate valves are controlled by actuators: electric actuators from various manufacturers (Э), handwheels (M), and an actuator head with a cylindrical (ЦЗ) or bevel (КЗ) gear transmission.

Gate valves are available with gates of three different designs: bayonet-type connection of discs and a cage (Fig. 1), spherical axial hinges of the “lentil” type (Fig. 2), and “mushroom” type (Fig. 3 and Fig. 4). In the gate valves with spherical axial hinges of the “lentil” and “mushroom” types, the bonnets can be designed with tapered surfaces that lock the discs in the open position, significantly reducing disc vibration.

The valves shown in Fig. 1, 2, and 3 are valves with a self-sealing body-to-bonnet connection; the valves shown in Fig. 4 have a flanged body-to-bonnet connection.

Sealing surface – corrosion-resistant steel overlay.

Shutoff classification – “C” acc.to GOST R 54808-2011.

End connection – butt-welded.

Flow direction – any.

The valves are installed on horizontal pipelines with the actuator facing upward. For ease of maintenance, the valves may be installed in any position of the upper semicircle on horizontal pipelines. On vertical pipelines, the valves may be installed subject to the electric actuator installation requirements as specified in its operating documentation.
