Silencer assemblies (Fig. 1) are used as non-adjustable throttling elements of desuperheating stations (DS) and pressure-reducing desuperheating stations (PRDS). They are intended to reduce noise levels during steam throttling and expansion in the DS and PRDS. They are installed right after the throttling valves of the DS or PRDS.
Silencers with a throttling-cooling grate (Fig. 2) are intended to cool steam and are an integral part of the kit included in DS and PRDS.
End connection – butt-welded.
Installation position: horizontal or vertical.
Flow direction: follow the arrow on the body.
Climatic version: N3 acc.to GOST 15150-69.
