Casing-head stuffing box CHSB-73-32CL-М, CHSB-73-32CL-М1, CHSB-73-32CL-М2 are designed to seal the polished rod of a well sucker rod pump.
The packing design ensures:
- automatic shutoff of the wellhead in the event of a rod break;
- possibility to replace the gland packing without killing the well;
- compensation for radial rod movement of up to 4 mm maintaining a tight seal for up to 1,500,000 cycles without replacing the sealing cup;
- environmental safety during the operation of rod line wells.
- wellhead tightness during extended downtime (waiting for repairs, during flooding (river or lake overflows) using a shutoff device – a preventer).
In terms of design, the packings are made in 3 modifications with different functional capabilities.
