Attemperator is designed to reduce steam temperature and presssure in pressure-reducing desuperheating stations of HPP processing lines and is a part of kit of items included in desuperheating stations, PRDS and fast-response PRDS. Attemperators can be equipped with one or several throttle grids which maintain final steam reducing. At the same time these grids serve as sound attenuators decreasing sound level in case of steam extension. Cooling water is injected with a help of injector heads – atomizers (Fig. 1) and spray nozzles (Fig. 2).
End connection – butt welded.
Installation position – horizontal or vertical.
Medium flow direction – following the arrow sign on the body.
Climatic version – U3 (moderate macroclimate, outside and inside operation) according to GOST 15150-69.
