Sound attenuator units (Fig.1) are applied as nonadjustable throttle elements of pressure-reducing stations and pressure-reducing desuperheating stations. They are applied to reduce sound level in case of steam throttling and expansion in pressure-reducing stations and pressure-reducing desuperheating stations. They are installed right behind butterfly valves of pressure-reducing stations and pressure-reducing desuperheating stations.
Sound attenuators with throttling and cooling grid (Fig.2) are designed to condense steam and are a part of kit of items included in desuperheating stations and pressure-reducing desuperheating stations.
End connection – butt welded.
Installation position – horizontal or vertical.
Medium flow direction – following the arrow sign on the body.
Climatic version – U3 (moderate macroclimate, outside and inside operation) according to GOST 15150-69.
